fine DIN glass optics used on more expensive scopes, but built into a simple
easy-to-use scope at a great price.
The Beginner Scope has a virtually indestructible solid metal frame that
will hold up to years of use. A unique light gathering prism in the
base allows this scope to be used in a lot of places where others just can't
go.

Total magnification is determined by magnifying eyepiece being used times
the objective power - so you'll have 100x with this great little scope. That is plenty
of power to see protozoa swimming in a drop of pond or creek water, or the
cells of an onion skin.
The stand pivots to incline the eyetube for ideal positioning.
Spring stage clips hold the slide firmly in place. Focusing is accomplished
by sliding the optical tube up and down.
You'll need slides for this scope - order optional blank slides to make your
own collection of prepared slides! (See below.)
An included vinyl cover keeps your scope dust free when not in use.
