The Semi-Plan objectives on the I-4 are the best we have ever seen. They are flatfield and free of abberation almost all the way out to the edge of the field of view. (Most semi-plan objectives are flatfield out to 80% of the field of view - these are flat to 95% or more.) Plan objectives are also available. (By contrast, you may see microscopes out there that don't mention Plan or Semi-Plan, they are likely "Achromatic", which are flatfield to 60%.)

The I-4 is a tremendous value in an Infinity microscope.

Darkfield Condenser: $179

This is a dry condenser which replaces the standard brightfield condenser on the I-4. Easy to switch out and switch back.

Phase Contrast Kit: $1149/$1049

Set contains turret condenser with 10x/20x/40x/100x Phase & brightfield settings, as well as 10x/20x/40x/100x Phase Contrast Objectives (Plan Achromatic). Also included is a darkfield setting in the condenser which will work with the 10/20/40x objectives (not with 100x). Change between settings with a flip of the thumb. Save $100 by ordering at the same time as your I-4 (in which case the Plan Objectives are replaced with the Phase Plan Objectives).
