3030 Inverted Biological Microscope Features:

The ACCU-SCOPE 3030 inverted microscope series brings superior research level optics for the study of cultures and liquid deposits to laboratories, hospitals, and educational institutions at an affordable price.  The most advanced optical and mechanical components are incorporated to offer exceptional value, versatility, and performance to meet the exacting requirements of life science professionals.  Digital video and image capture is also available.

Two models are available, the 3030 and the 3030PH (Phase) described below.

Optics

Wide field (18mm) 10x eyepieces

Objectives mounted on quadruple, ball bearing nosepiece with positive click stops.  Wide grip on turret makes switching objectives fast and easy.

Condenser pre-centered, long working distance (30mm), NA 0.4, Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm, mounted on rack and pinion.  (Clearance of 74mm from stage to condenser with condenser at its uppermost position.

 Optional ultra-long working distance (70mm), brightfield condenser is available for the 3030.  (Brightfield only, does not work with phase contrast.)

Two models are available, otherwise identical except for the objectives:

Model 3030 Objectives LWD DIN Plan Achromat Objectives (1.2mm cover glass), parfocal, parcentered, color coded:

  • 4x Plan
  • 10x Plan Phase, NA 0.25, WD 8.0mm -  can also be used as brightfield (like the others)
    (Includes annular diaphragm plate)
  • 25x Plan, NA 0.40, WD 4.8mm
  • 40xr Plan, NA 0.60, WD 3.3mm

With the 10x eyepieces, total magnifications of 4x, 100x, 250x, 400x in brightfield and 100x in phase are achieved.

Model 3030PH (Phase) Objectives LWD DIN Plan Phase Contrast Achromat Objectives (1.2mm cover glass), parfocal, parcentered, color coded. Matching annular diaphragm plates included.

  • 4x Plan Brightfield
  • 10x Plan Phase, NA 0.25, WD 8.0mm
  • 25x Plan Phase, NA 0.40, WD 4.8mm
  • 40xr Plan Phase, NA 0.60, WD 3.3mm

With the 10x eyepieces, total magnifications of 40x, 100x, 250x, and 400x in brightfield and 100x, 250x, and 400x in phase are achieved.

Illumination

Koehler 6 volt / 20 watt halogen illumination

Variable in full range of intensity from 0 to 20 watts using convenient base mounted dial

Blue, green, and white filters included

Head

Diopter adjustment (±5) allowing adjustment to your exact needs with an interpupillary distance adjustment range of 55 to 75mm

Binocular (Seidentopf) head is inclined 30° for ease of use, rotates full 360°

The standard head is trinocular and available with photo or C Mount tube.  You'll need the C Mount for the Digital option.  If you would like the flexibility to add a digital camera or SLR camera (using an optional Camera Mount) then select the Photo Tube.

3035 Inverted Metallurgical Microscope Features:

The ACCU-SCOPE 3035 metallurgical microscope has been designed for the identification and analysis of the structures of metals and alloys.  The 3035 microscope series is ideal for research institutions, factories, and educational institutions for studying metallography, heat treatment, and metal physics.  Digital video and image capture is also available.

DIN Plan Achromat Objectives, parfocal, parcentered, color coded.  No cover glass required.

  • 10x Plan, NA 0.25   (8.9 mm working distance)

The large working distances of the objectives through 40x allow for the inspection of irregular as well as smooth surfaces at magnifications through 400x.
