Mechanical
Stage
This practical device attaches to the Observer microscope stage, and by means
of two dials, moves the slide slowly and precisely on the stage. A
mechanical stage is a necessity at 1000x, and very handy below that. The
Observer and the Student Series Microscopes are pre-drilled for this mechanical
stage, and it is easily attached. |

Carry Case
 This sturdy nylon carry
case will take good care of your microscope. Its closed cell foam liner provides
protection on all six sides. Dual Velcro straps hold your instrument safely
inside. Two inner pockets hold supplies and cords.

100x Objective
If you have an SAF3, or another scope with fine focus, you may want to upgrade
the scope to handle 1000x (with a 10x eyepiece). This is an
oil immersion lens. Due to the power
of lens, you will need a mechanical stage. If your scope is not equipped
with a mechanical stage, one can be ordered above. With the addition
of this lens, an SAF3 scope becomes identical to an SAF4. Lens is
Achromatic, color corrected, and conforms to the DIN standard. Small
bottle of immersion oil is included. (This lens is not recommended
for microscopes without fine focus.) |
